Mandi McDougall has a creative spirit and enjoys being able to share that on a large scale. Helping someone, whether it's an excited bride-to-be or a busy corporate executive pull off a fun and memorable event always gives Mandi a special thrill and a sense of joy and fulfillment in her work. Having a happy client at the end of the day is one of her biggest rewards. Mandi is also proud to be able to tap into so many other local businesses and network with their owners, something that is often an essential part of pulling off a successful event. She regularly works with caterers, bakers, photographers, florists and other professionals, and those local connections not only help make better events, but it also serves to drive the Terrace economy. "I love working with others, 'spreading the love' financially," says Mandi, who has also donated free photography services to local organizations and their events.
Outside of work, Mandi is a busy mom who is often doing typical mom things, like running her kids to their various activities and sports or helping out at their school. For Mandi, Terrace is the perfect "family town." Not only is everything close by (no commuting required), but it is a safe, friendly community where everyone knows everyone and people look out for one another.
Mandi and her family are all big outdoors fans, another reason why Terrace is such a great place to live. Mandi appreciates the pristine scenery and the endless opportunities for outdoor fun. The family likes to go fishing, hiking and camping. Mandi likes to spend her own down time relaxing with a good book or hanging out with friends and family.
